A Four Month Old

When I was trying to take this picture Cormac kept grabbing the bear and pulling him closer to him. I suppose he wanted to snuggle. He has been feeling a little crummy since his shots yesterday. Can you believe I have a four month old? I can't. It has been going by so fast. It is so fun to watch Cormac grow and learn. He is such a smart, strong boy.

At four months Cormac:
~weighs 16 lbs 10 oz and is 26.5 inches long!
~has moved on from sucking on the side of his fist to sucking on his index finger. He prefers his left index finger to his right one.
~rolls from his back to his stomach, always over the left side. He also can roll from his stomach to his back, but he only does it on rare occasion. Usually he just gets mad that he's stuck on his stomach.
~loves to make noises! He loves to sing and talk to himself. He also enjoys blowing bubbles out of his mouth and makes noises that sound like he's pretending to blow boats out of the water. He also makes a hissing noise that is truly adorable.
~can grab on to things and can hold on (keep your hair away from this boy, he gets the little hairs at the back of the neck that hurt and won't let go).
~still likes to sleep swaddled.
~only likes the pacifier when it's time to sleep.
~smiles so much and will even laugh on occasion. But he's still pretty serious most of the time.
~loves to splash in the bath.
~has moved on from being fascinated with his hands to being fascinated with his feet.

This boy is so much fun. We love him so much! Now if we can just recover from those nasty shots.

Shots are awful! Especially the day after shots. Especially when they get the shots. All of it.

I remember Ammon sucking on his middle and index finger. Does he still do that?
